When I work with a client, I try to change their thinking from “losing weight” to getting in shape. Unfortunately today, people are too focused with the idea of weight loss. It’s not your fault, we are bombarded with this message dozens of times almost every day. You can’t turn on the TV or read a magazine without hearing or seeing them.

Keep in mind, though weight loss will be major benefit of my training and nutritional programs, I will not let you get caught in the “fat loss trap”. With one of my programs, you won’t be a slave to the continual cycles of loss and gain ever again. I’ll have you focusing less on the scale, and more on the mirror.

Dieting

The word diet often conjures up images in our mind of severe restrictions to ones food intake- a process that involves starving oneself in an attempt to fit into a smaller jean size or look better 8 weeks before the bathing suit season. There is always some new eating craze on the market each year, or some pill that will “trim” the fat right off your waist. Though I don’t think these fads and pills will ever go away, I can help you understand the difference between them and a healthy eating plan that will allow you to get in shape, lose weight while feeling great.

Consider the definition of the word diet;

I like this definition because it talks about what is the true meaning of the word diet – simply the types of food we consume each day. What types of food we consume has a direct impact on our bodies appearance, our well being, and state of mind.

My nutritional program will put you on the path of better living and help you keep off the weight you lose. A healthy diet plan doesn’t mean you have to give up taste, in fact after you’ve gotten away from the processed foods and sugars, you will begin to notice the taste of your food even more.

Combine my nutritional program with one my training plans, and you will further increase the results of fat loss, boost your energy and stamina and positively affect your body’s appearance.
